RUSTICUS IN PLAIN ENGLISH, or A Modern Poem on Liberty,

Rusticus.
The Bard, who now to sense, now nonsense leaning,
Means not, but blunders round about a meaning;
And he, who fustian's so sublimely bad,

To you the skies in pity send
A bard, who, in the nick of time,
Stands forth to vindicate, in rhyme,
Your life, your liberty and fame;
